Lagunen´s beautiful and unique location is perfect for discovering Bohuslän´s world-renowed archipelago. We encourage everyone to come and visit. If you are not familiar with boats and renting one on your own seems a bit frightening, we can highly recommend one of many chartered tours departing from Strömstad. Seal safari, island jumping and fishing lobster are just a few examples of available tours. Also, if you are visiting us during the dark autumn and winter months, take the opportunity to see Strömstad´s skyline from the sea by night, amazing!
On you own
At Lagunen you have the option of renting your own transportation. Boat, canoe, and kayak are great when you want to explore the surroundings. But if you just want to stay near the beach, rent a paddling boat or try this year´s new thing; SUP - Stand Up Paddling. Just like a surfing board, but standing up with a paddle!
Discover Bohuslän, from the reil
Although Bohuslän has a lot to offer in the interior, it is probably the coast and its archipelago that most of us relate with this region. And stranger things have happened. Small islets, red boathouses, smooth granite and blistering autumn storms have through generations fascinated. And continues to fascinate locals as well as visitors from far and wide.
There are many ways of discovering Bohuslän, and we recommend them all. Kosters National park, the first marine national park in Sweden, is a must!
